TEAM Dance Academy

TEAM Dance Academy is a thriving dance school in the heart of Crystal Palace, South East London. At TEAM we offer affordable yet professional dance classes from age 2 years up. The school was founded in 2010 by Principal Lucy Rodgers who is very experienced and qualified in all aspects of dance. Lucy and her staff pride themselves on their professional approach and uncompromising standards.

As a school we provide traditional dance training for children and young people of different ages and abilities who want to attend a high quality dance class within a safe and positive environment. At TEAM we believe Ballet is where every dancer should begin and therefore everyone attends I.D.T.A ballet as their first discipline and then they can take additional classes in I.D.T.A Tap & Modern, acrobatics, stretching, progressive ballet technique, and musical theatre.

Through an established system of teaching basic techniques and developing each pupils’ individual skills, TEAM dancers are encouraged to attain the highest standards in both examinations and in their participation in competitive dance festivals, shows and local events.

TEAM is able to offer something for everyone, whether pupils are dancing for fun or seeking to achieve a high professional standard. We encourage all pupils and parents to have fun and enjoy the happy atmosphere for which the school is highly regarded and proud of.

My eldest has been going for over 7 years and has loved the exams and competition side of the dance school. My younger two have a lot of fun. Between them they do classes in ballet, tap and modern. They have also really loved the musical theatre workshops in the summer which have included Trolls, Hairspray, Grease and this year Mary Poppins!
